Get the receipt!

🙌🏻🗣️📢⚠️❗ A warning for any of you who like to play games on your computer or laptop, when you purchase a card for a digital downloadable game from some store like WalMart, be sure to get the receipt when you are asked if you want it, if they didn’t give you the receipt, be sure to ask someone who work at the store to get you the receipt, and that is not all, I highly recommend that you also have the receipt to be sent to your phone or email if there is an option such as the self-checkout at some store like Wal-Mart because that can come handy especially if you lose the printed physical receipt.

I want to warn some of you about this because my mom gifted me a digital game I really wanted for my PC (computer) for Christmas. I realized that there was no redeemable code or any details that I could use from that game card to redeem a game for my computer. So I had to read the back of a digital game card, trying to figure out a way. All it says is that the code for the digital game is on a receipt, so I thought we were in trouble because there was no way I could get or redeem the game unless my mom could find her receipt, which has the code. After all, I asked her for the receipt, but she didn’t have it, so the only option we had was to call Walmart, hoping they could find it and reprint it with that code for us. But then my mom found the receipt in her phone, with the code, after realizing she’d also used the option to have the receipt sent to her phone/email! So, if it weren’t for that, that she lost her receipt, and didn’t use the option of having the receipt to be sent to her phone as well then it would be might as well to say the money has been wasted unless by the luck that WalMart still have the receipt in their system to reprint the receipt for my mom that would have the redeemable code for the game.

The bottom line is that the whole point is to recommend that when you get the receipt, and there is the option to have it sent to your phone using your cell phone number or email address, then do it just to be safer! It’s not just for a game card, but for anything, even groceries, iTunes card, Google Play card, etc., because they could come in handy when you need some information from that receipt, but you lost or threw it away.
